Dr. Wendy B.Mahoney

Dr. Wendy Mahoney accepted Christ at an early age. She learned the Bible by listening to her great-grandmother and grandmother read to her. Therefore, making the Bible the first book she learned to read. As she grew in the knowledge and wisdom of God, she developed her relationship with God by sitting and praying in the closet. This laid the foundation for her Kingdom work and principles in serving God. With this came an inspirational scripture that carried her through many phases of life. That scripture verse is Psalm 27:14… “Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”

With a history of over 30 years in various ministry roles, Dr. Mahoney's service is a testament to her dedication and love for Christ. Her leadership roles, including director of vacation bible school, teacher for middle and high school students, altar ministry leader, administrator of the praise dance department, and associate pastor, have all been marked by her unwavering commitment to the ministry. Her love for Christ has been demonstrated in her service to numerous congregations, and she has shared her wisdom at conferences and congregations of various denominations across the country.

Dr. Mahoney's academic journey is as remarkable as her ministry work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Tougaloo College, a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a 6th year certificate in Education Administration, both from Minnesota State University-Mankato. Her most esteemed degree, however, is the Doctor of Theology from Grace Through Faith School of Ministry. This academic foundation, coupled with her licensure and ordination as a pastor, reflects her passion for marketplace ministry and her holistic approach to healing and wholeness.

Dr. Mahoney's love for Christ continues to drive her and her partner, Bishop Gerald Cahee, as they build the kingdom of God through their ministries, Kingdom Expansion, and Thee Holy Place. Their mission takes them across the country, supporting churches in building capacity through training, strategic planning, and ministry development. Her current ministry scriptures, Matthew 6:33-34, 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof,' guide her in her ongoing commitment to her calling.

She is the proud mother of two daughters and four grandchildren. She affectionately cares for and supports her mother, who is her biggest supporter.
